Located just south of Rock Island State Park on the Rocky River, this 2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin is perfect for a fishing retreat or restful getaway.
The Rocky River Cabin features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, full-size refrigerator, range and oven, icemaker and toaster oven as well as a convenient breakfast bar that seats four. The cabin also includes a washer and dryer.
Enjoy an evening curled up in front of the electric fireplace, or watch a movie on the cabin's DVD player or Roku streamer. Both Bedrooms are furnished with a queen size bed.
Nearby activities include fly fishing, canoeing or tubing in the Rocky River, nature hikes or relaxing on your gorgeous wrap around deck overlooking a lazy trout- stock river. Downtown McMinnville with shopping, dining, and entertainment is a short and scenic fifteen minute drive.
The popular Rock Island State Park with its gorgeous Twin Falls waterfall is about twenty minutes by car and certainly worth the drive.

Stayed 7 days in July, 2014
This cabin is beautiful on the inside. I spent so much time on the back deck listening to the water. It sounds like a babbling brook. Kroger is just up the road about 10 minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and look forward to coming back.

This cabin has it all. Beautiful inside, peaceful outside, and 15 or less minutes to Kroger. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

The actual cabin was clean, nice, and everything I had hoped for. The wifi was very good. The beds were comfortable.
There are just two complaints I have:
First, I was sent two different codes for the door code, and neither of them worked. I didn't have cell phone service at the cabin, so trying to get it resolved was frustrating. Finally, management texted me the code that worked.
Secondly, the neighbors were yelling and screaming at one another, and then, apparently to vent their anger, they took a couple of hours of target practice. So much for the peaceful & restful trip we envisioned.

Stayed 3 days in May, 2014
I traveled to this cabin from Virginia to visit my son and his family in McMinnville. It was perfect! The furnishings were comfortable and we loved being right on the river. Since we are a farm family the cattle across the river made us feel right at home. If I had to offer any suggestions; it might be nice to allow guests use of the wi-fi since cell service is limited.

Everything was great. The river out back and the surrounding area is beautiful. Will warn you that there is very little cell phone reception but the cabin has great WIFI. We will be back.

Rocky River Cabin is the cutest and one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed. I definitely recommend Rocky River Cabin. Perfect for my wife and I to just get away from it all.
