A great place to stay while you explore Fall Creek Falls and the surrounding area!

Not recommended
The primary reason I cannot recommend this property is the severe pigeon infestation and the unsanitary conditions it created in the common areas leading to the rental.
The stairway and hallway that guests must use to access the condo were covered with pigeon feathers and large amounts of pigeon droppings. It was honestly shocking to see. Walking through the area felt unsanitary and unpleasant, and it significantly impacted our stay. At night, dozens of pigeons roosted in the ceiling area above the hallway, creating even more mess. By the next morning, the accumulation of droppings and feathers had returned.
I contacted the owner regarding the issue and was informed that it was an ongoing problem and that the cleaning crew would address it. While some cleanup occurred, the pigeons returned immediately, and the conditions remained unacceptable throughout our stay.
This is not simply an aesthetic issue. Large accumulations of bird droppings can pose legitimate health concerns, including exposure to diseases such as histoplasmosis, cryptococcosis, and psittacosis. Given the amount of droppings present and the fact that guests must walk through the affected area to access the rental, I believe this situation warrants immediate attention. If a health inspector were to observe these conditions, I would expect serious concerns to be raised.
In addition to the sanitation issues, there were several other disappointments that were not clearly disclosed in the listing.
The nearest grocery store was approximately 40 minutes away. Had we known this beforehand, we would have packed a cooler and brought additional supplies.
The listing also advertised access to a pool and a large lake with a fishing dock. Upon arrival, a resident informed us that the pool was closed due to inspection issues and was not included with our rental. We were also told that residents did not want renters using the pool. Additionally, the pool was located approximately 1.5 miles away down a gravel road rather than being adjacent to the condo.
While there is water beside the condo, the listing failed to disclose that there is no practical access to it. The shoreline is an extremely steep drop-off, making it impossible to fish from the property itself.
Had the listing accurately described the property’s remote location, the lack of usable water access, the true status of the advertised amenities, and the condition of the common areas, we would have chosen a different property.
Unfortunately, the severe sanitation concerns, combined with the misleading amenities and lack of disclosure regarding the property, made this a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to other travelers.

The condo was perfect for our getaway. It was spotless, and check in/check out was so easy. We will be back!
